We are trialing for places for the vacancies in our teams when the winter season is complete. Each team will have 8 players in their new squad with the exception of the first team who will have 9 and the lowest team who have no limit.
This will be done in blocks of 3 teams dates and times to be arranged. The trails will consist of short matches where players will be tried in the teams they are trialing for.
The selectors will be: Club coach, a team member, an outside invited selector - their decision is final but an appeal may be made to the committee.
Any player may trial for any team vacancy. The vacancies will be filled from the 1st team down.
The new teams will play in the summer league - however, we have entered teams for the summer as follows: 1st, 2nd and 3rd team we have entered 2 teams - 4th, 5th and 6th team - two teams - 7th, 8th and 9th team, 2 teams. A new junior team will also be slotted into our team order - they will play as a unit in the summer league. In their first winter season they will also play as a unit but individually they may trial for places in our teams where there are vacancies now.

A reminder that unless you are England Netball affiliated you cannot play, umpire or coach netball for our club. It is part of our rules and League rules. We assume those players who have not sent registration forms back now are not joining and we will seek other players to replace them in the teams.

REGISTRATIONS...
You cannot play in the Chelmsford or Colchester Leagues for this club until you are affiliated and registered. Club fees this season are held at £35 seniors (18 and over) and £17 juniors (under 18 on 1st September 2009). If you require a form then please download it from this site. You may fill this in and post back. We will then get you affiliated ASAP. All players that have sent back registration forms are now affiliated to England Netball. You will all receive a membership card with your first magazine. If you don't then let us know!

JUNIOR CLUB NEWS see JUNIORS
We will be paying our umpires £10 for 4 x 12min games and £15 for 4 x 15 min games this season. This increase has an impact on our match fees that will now change. Please pay your umpires these amounts unless they ask for more as this is the minimum.
Match fees will be £3.00 for 4 x 12 mins and £3.50 for 4 x 15 mins games for the coming winter. The AENA fee is increasing as is the County fee. Also the Chelmsford team registration fee has increased by £5 per team for this winter, but we have not increased our Club joining fees. The budget is tight so please collect ALL match fees.

We are still seeking new sponsors!! Our club kit is now Navy lycra dresses or skirts and tops (Michelle dress), with velcro bibs. We have NAVY sweatshirts badged. Please phone Mick to order.
As new sponsors are found we will change to our new lightweight modern kit. If you think you may have a sponsor for your team ask Mick for a sponsorship letter and discuss it with him.
BEWARE! The Chelmsford Committee are considering deducting points from any team whose members park in the swimming pool car park!! The Club Committee will also be considering fining any member whose team receives this penalty! You have been finally warned....

Players possessing sponsored kit and no longer playing for that club team MUST RETURN IT! A reminder that club kit must be worn at all matches, and the league rules state that SKIRTS or DRESSES MUST BE WORN FOR ALL MATCHES!! ANYONE NOT WEARING A SKIRT/DRESS COULD BE REFUSED PLAYING PERMISSION BY THE UMPIRE!! TRACK SUIT BOTTOMS WORN UNDER SKIRTS SHOULD BE IN NAVY.
